This carefully cared for and modernised accommodation sleeps a maximum of four people. Woodland is also the perfect location for your touring holiday base. All within easy travelling distance are Durham City with it's magnificent Cathedral and Castle, Hadrian's Wall, The Northumberland National Park, The Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lake District, The Northumberland Coast and The North Yorkshire Moors and coast.
Ground Floor: Spacious sitting room, tastefully furnished with coal effect fire and open staircase. Fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with dining area.
First Floor: 2 Bedrooms, 1 double and one 2'6' twin. Bathroom with coloured suite, shower, electric heater and shaver point.
Facilities: Central heating (radiators) throughout, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board, Tv, video and stereo. Towels, bed linen and duvets provided. Electricity and heating included in the rent. Off road parking for two cars. Small well kept garden with picnic table. Short breaks and flexible start dates by arrangement. Open all year.

Woodland village is a small community perched high on the slopes of the lower Teesdale valley on the edge of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Lying between the Yorkshire Dales and the Northumberland National Park the Durham Dales of Teesdale and Weardale offer some of the country's finest scenery-a blend of rugged upland, impressive waterfalls, gentle river valleys, wildflower meadows and drystone walls.
Woodland offers a good base for exploring the area and there is plenty of scope for walking and other outdoor activities, which can all be enjoyed amidst the impressive North Pennine scenery.
Less well known than other regions the area is surprisingly unspoilt and uncrowded, even at peak holiday periods.
