The Rose and Crown at Romaldkirk is an 18thC coaching inn situated on the middle green next to the Saxon church, in one of Northern England’s prettiest villages. Owned by Christopher and Alison Davy since 1989, it has received major awards including Michelin ‘Pub of the Year’, The Good Hotel Guide Cesar Award ‘Inn of the Year’, AA ‘Pub of the Year’ as well as 2 AA Red Stars and 2 AA Rosettes.
There are 12 bedrooms, all with en suite, 2 with private sitting room, 5 of which are courtyard rooms to the rear of the hotel. Dinner is served each evening in the oak panelled restaurant, bar lunches and suppers are available in the bar or the Brasserie. There is a comfortable lounge for residents.
