Mellwaters Barn is situated on a working farm in beautiful Teesdale near Barnard Castle. Two cottages each sleep 4 people, 1 sleeps 3 people and 2 each sleep 2 people, some cottages can be joined together for large parties.

There are purpose built footpaths around the farm to enable visitors to enjoy the magnificent views including God's Bridge and settlements of archaeological interest. For lovers of birds and wild flowers there is a wide variety of bird life and wild flowers in the hay meadows. The Bowes Museum and the market town of Barnard Castle are some 5 miles away; Durham, the Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, York and Newcastle upon Tyne are approximately an hour from the farm.
