Ideally situated, newly-opened accommodation in the tranquil heart of Hamsterley Forest and set in pleasant gardens of a third of an acre surrounded by open countryside.
One double and 1 twin en suite, both with private entrance, all on one level. Ideal for cycling and walking, touring the North East or just relaxing. Local, fair trade and organic produce used as far as possible. Hearty full English breakfasts (vegetarian options available), with home-made bread, cakes and preserves.
Guest dining room/lounge - quality, home-cooked evening meals and supper trays are available.
Summerhouse with seating area with panoramic views of the garden and its wildlife (including woodpeckers, nuthatches, siskins and many more). The Hydropool hot tub (dedicated bathrobes and towels are provided) is ideal for a relaxing end to a hard day viewing the stars through the glass roof.
In-room facilities include coffee/tea with home-made cakes/biscuits (alternative and decaffeinated beverages are provided on a tray in the hall), mini-fridge, safe, TV, bathrobes and complementary Body Shop toiletries.
Off-road, private parking and secure storage for bicycles with hosepipe, workshop space and drying facilities.
Discounts are available for stays of more than 1 night.

Road Directions
Follow Hamsterley Forest tourist signs from the A68, 3 miles north of West Auckland. As you enter the Forest, pass the toll machine. You do not have to pay - if anyone is collecting the toll tell them you are visiting John and Julie in the Forest Holdings. In the forest pass the tea rooms, follow Forest Drive. After bungalow (on left) cross a small bridge and take the next right. We are the bungalow after the farmhouse, about 600 yards up the road. Parking is signposted immediately after the detached garage. Ring the bell at the front door or between the room doors.
